Aluminum Vacuum Science
Atlas Flange TM (the aluminum flange with a stainless knife edge) and the Atlas ATCR™ (the aluminum face seal fitting with a stainless face) permit the use of aluminum ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) systems and high purity fluid, gas, or vacuum delivery with robust stainless all metal knife edges and sealing face. Aluminum offers so many advantages over stainless steel as a UHV material that we are developing aluminum vacuum products that replace stainless nearly every conceivable stainless component.
Thermal Performance Products
Other products that may change the way you think about your challenges in the semiconductor and materials science markets are our oxygen resistant highly thermally uniform wafer heater tables and susceptors . With this line of products we provide a wafer heater or sample heater with a hastalloy, stainless face or even aluminum face that have a copper core to increase the thermal uniformity of the surface of the heater.
Cryogenic, Nuclear, & Magnetic Products
This pioneering spirit has brought forth developments in extremely robust and economical Reinforced Transitions (aluminum to stainless for cryogenic or vacuum applications) and highly efficient Isotope Tubes (for the production of medical isotopes) as well as products that provide large amount of magnetic shielding is a small vacuum space or a vacuum chamber with very low permeability.
