Atlas commonly bonds aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, niobium and copper. We also have experience in joining many other metals.


We bond and manufacture custom bimetallic assemblies for customers in industries ranging from ultra-high vacuum, cryogenic, medical, nuclear, and aerospace. Our full-capacity machine shop then machines, welds, assembles and tests your custom products to meet your specific requirements.


Recent custom bimetal products include copper/stainless fittings for use in cryogenics, niobium/stainless fittings for a rocket launcher, and aluminum/stainless flanges with custom cutouts for data ports used in physics research.
