Atlas TSP shrouds create a high surface vacuum environment for condensation of the titanium pumping film without producing hydrogen, while stainless steel desorbs hydrogen. TSP shrouds are compatible with a range of industry-standard TSP filaments and controllers.
With maximized internal surface areas, the TSP shrouds offer accelerated pumping speeds and excellent heat dissipation requiring no external water cooling during the operation. The material’s very low hydrogen permeation – seven orders of magnitude less than stainless steel – results in superior UHV and XHV performance.
